Ironically, based on the column, Fairfax Publications invited me to write\u00a0<em>The Ultimate Guide to Buying and Renting Houses and Apartments\u00a0<\/em>which is a much more practical and down-to-earth \u201chow-to\u201d book about buying, selling and renting \u2013 although it does have a \u201cBest and Worst of Flat Chat\u201d included.<\/em><\/h1>\n<p><em>The\u00a0<em>Ultimate Guide to\u00a0<\/em>was published in June 2006 and updated in April 2008 (rrp $29.95).<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><em>The Ultimate Guide \u2026\u00a0<\/em>is currently out of print but I am writing an update to Apartment Living.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u00a0Our first book about living in apartments , ingeniously called\u00a0Apartment Living,\u00a0led to my weekly\u00a0Flat Chat\u00a0column in the Sydney Morning Herald.
